Course info
The group regularly receives research grants. The EPSRC has awarded a 1 million pound grant under the Multidisciplinary Critical Mass in Mathematics initiative. It supports the new National Centre for Statistical Ecology (NCSE), which is a joint venture between the universities of Cambridge, Kent and St Andrews. In addition, there are currently two BBSRC-supported post-doctoral posts, working on problems in molecular biology and ecology, and a post-doctoral post supported by an EU Marie Curie award, working on problems of parameter redundancy. Current research interests are comprised of:- Biometry and Ecological Statistics; Bioinformatics and Medical Statistics & Nonparametric Statistics.

How much will it cost?
The standard fee for 2007/08: £3350 (full-time); part-time pro-rata. Course fees are subject to change and you are advised to check the current details with the course provider before enrolling on this course. Fees vary according to the subject chosen (especially in respect of Science & Management disciplines); details of 2008/09 fess will be available from the provider from March 2008.

Assessment method
Submission of a thesis.
