Course info
Part 1 students take Computing, Maths and Financial Accounting modules. There are further compulsory Accountancy & Finance modules in Part 2, with opportunities for exemptions from some stages of professional accountancy exams if appropriate options are taken. 1st year Economics introduces issues and develops the tools that economists use in analysing economic problems. In the final years, you take core modules in Macro & Microeconomics, Quantitative Economics and Economic Analysis of Policy, with specialised optional modules. In addition, you can research a specialised topic & dissertation.
How much will it cost?

Assessment method
ECONOMICS: Normally modules have an end-of-year exam which counts for 80%. 20% comes from continuous assessment throughout the year, and, in some cases, class-based exercises. The dissertation module is assessed on the dissertation plus a short presentation. ACCOUNTING: Most modules have an end-of-year exam which counts for 90% ; 10% is derived from coursework. 2nd & final year marks count towards final degree class (together with your marks from your year abroad if applicable).
